A panel is a persistent Discord message with up to 10 buttons. Each button opens a saved page list or starts a saved create-page command.
Prepare the targets
Create and save the page lists or create-page commands before you add a panel. A global panel can use global targets and supported targets owned by any space. A space panel can use only targets owned by the same space.
Create and publish a panel
- Open Panels in the scope that should own the panel.
- Add a panel name, visible title, optional text, and Discord destination.
- Add buttons, select each saved target, and arrange the button order.
- Review the canonical preview. Its buttons are disabled because it represents the unsaved draft.
- Use Send preview for a separate test message if needed.
- Select Save panel, then Publish in Discord.
Saving stores the draft. Publishing creates or updates the persistent message at the configured destination. Sending a preview does neither.
The Panels list shows the actual Discord message preview with its configured title, text, button styles, emojis and order. Its preview buttons are inactive. Use the separate management actions to edit or publish. Draft, Published and Needs update identify publication state; saved changes require publishing before they appear in Discord.
Update or remove dependencies
Edit and save the panel, then publish again to update its persistent Discord message. Before deleting a target page list or create-page command, remove its button from every active panel and publish the updated panels.
A destination marked Needs access cannot be saved. A saved destination marked Unavailable must regain access or be replaced before preview or publish.
