Firnity Discord for Confluence always shows a private review before creating a page. The write uses your linked Atlassian identity and is limited by your Confluence permissions.
Choose a creation path
- Run
/create-pagefor the built-in workflow. - Run a custom create-page slash command configured by an administrator.
- Use the Create Confluence page message command on an existing Discord message.
A custom command may use a fixed parent page or ask you to choose one in Discord. Space-owned commands accept only parent pages from their own space.
Review and create
- Open the command and provide the required title.
- Add page content and attachments when those fields are available.
- Select the parent page if the command asks for one.
- Review the private summary, including the destination space and parent.
- Confirm creation once. Wait for the result before taking another action.
The workflow accepts at most five attachments. Each file must be no larger than 10 MiB and must also fit Discord's effective interaction limit. All attachments together must be 25 MiB or less. If any attachment exceeds a limit, the entire action stops before page creation.
Linked discussions and follow-up warnings
Depending on the command, the result can include a linked Discord thread. Private threads require the app to create and send in private threads; adding role members also requires the Server Members privileged intent.
If Confluence creates the page but an attachment, thread, member-add, or thread-link step fails afterward, the result still says the page was created and shows a follow-up warning. Open the existing page and resolve the follow-up. Do not create the page again.
