Account linking lets Firnity Discord for Confluence search and write as you. Your existing Confluence permissions still decide which pages you can see or change.

Start the link

You can run /link-account in Discord, or follow the private connection prompt shown by a command that needs your identity.

  1. Open the supplied Firnity Discord for Confluence account connection page while signed in to Confluence.
  2. Select the option to connect Discord.
  3. Follow the Discord authorization step and confirm the intended account.
  4. Return to Discord and run the original command again.

The connection request is one-use and expires after five minutes. If the page says it expired or the connection was interrupted, return to the account connection page and start again.

What the link stores

The app stores the association between your Discord user ID and Atlassian account ID. It does not store Atlassian user access tokens or refresh tokens. Confluence actions obtain a current user-scoped authorization for the operation.

Change or remove the connection

Open the Firnity Discord for Confluence account connection page in Confluence to review or disconnect your linked identity. Disconnecting prevents future user-specific Discord actions until you link again.

Application analytics

A Confluence site administrator manages Application analytics for everyone on the site in Global Settings. Your Discord account connection does not control that setting.

Link only your own accounts

Complete the flow while signed in to the Atlassian and Discord identities you intend to associate. Do not forward the one-use link.
